Kiwanians are dedicated to promotion of Golf for Charity. KiwanisGolf.org is hosted by the Independence Kiwanis Veterans Support Committee chaired by Jackie Horn and comprised of VFW Auxiliary Lifetime Members who are also members of Kiwanis.
When the Independence VFW left the City and disbanded the Auxiliary, Auxiliary members, whose husbands, fathers and brothers were veterans, did not abandon their “unwavering support for uncommon heroes.”
Welcomed by Kiwanis, the new Veterans Support Committee was created and is committed to supporting the children of veterans and current serving military members.
Adding to this Mission is support for Providence House, a crisis nursery serving children in need in the Cleveland area.
